....................And he was successful in the sport he loved - - he knew the thrills of victory, he knew the disappointments of defeat, but even then, never a tear, never a word of criticism, never a regret, but always a friendly smile and the ability to translate obvious disappointment into an expression of love of the sport of racing.

This too defines Justin Grant, third cousin to Art. Dreams, desire, hard work, and ambition will hopefully lead Justin to his goals. The Indianapolis 500 as they did for Art in 1966 through 1973.

Art Pollard's son Mike Pollard recently lost his battle against cancer. He will be missed & remembered.
