Justin will be teamed with Mark Hery again for the 2012 season.  After a very successful season in 2011 including 9 feature victories, this team is looking to improve on their 2011 season.  The team is looking to run as many USAC national races as possible and plan to run the full schedule if possible.  They will also run Gas City on Friday nights, and Kokomo on Sunday nights.  The team is looking for additional associate sponsorship to help run the entire USAC national schedule.

Justin Grant joined Mark Hery racing for the 2011 season, based out of Piqua Ohio.  Mark and Justin joined forces in the off-season, and Justin was behind the wheel of Marks Claxton powered #40 DRC 410 non-wing program.  The team hopes to run as many USAC 410 races as possible, and will also be running most of the Kokomo Speedway Sunday night shows. Not one to shy away from a challenge, Justin is looking forward to this new challenge and the 2011 season.   Justin was coming of a successful rookie season with USAC where,  despite running a limited schedule, Justin was named 2010 USAC National Rookie of the Year.

Justin relocated to Indiana in 2009, taking his helmet bag and a few hundred dollars he had saved up, and went to work for Jeff Walker Racing.  Justin worked his tail off during the 2009 season crewing for a number of drivers cycling through the Walker camp.  The hard work paid off as Jeff put him in a car toward the end of 2009. Taking advantage of the opportunity, he ran extremely well in the few outings and was picked up full time in 2010 by Ken Baldwin out of West Lafayette, Indiana. 

Justin opened a lot of eyes in 2010.  Not only was he taking on the best drivers in the Nation, (with little or no experience), he was taking on the best crew chiefs in the nation as well.  Justin adapted very well, learned a lot, had some bright spots and some low spots.  2011 brings renewed energy and new enthusiasm.  Justin is ready to tackle the 2011 season.
